This is a very beautiful piece! I love the nice, soft colors and overall feel. I also think it is very interesting how you decided to blur out most of the background to keep the focus on the horse, but still maintain a sense of unity overall. I love doing that for my pieces as well.

Hair
The hair is pretty well matched with the surroundings. However, I do notice that the majority of the hairs are very clumped and almost stiff-looking in both the mane and tail. Try to keep hair clumping to a minimum. Hair is very flowy and each strand sort of has its own mind. But yes, there are portions that are more clumped together. So, overall, try to have more separate strands to really keep that flowiness going.

The hair is really the only thing that, in my opinion, was off. Everything else looks very great! I love the detail painting in the face and chest. You have just the right amount of detail to prevent the horse from looking too overdone.

Also, as a last thought, I was kind of confused as to what was below the white marking on the back right leg, where it connects to the water. What's that little brown thing sticking out at an angle? I was just curious cause I couldn't tell. XD

But again, great work! Very solid piece.
